Noisy pump

I have a BX 23 and noticed when I lower my FEL my pump make a whining sound and when I let the tractor idle I hear it too. I have not noticed the sound when using the Back hoe. I’m wondering if the problem might be in the valve body of the FEL. Im thinking about taking the tractor in to the dealership because I also have a front axle seal leaking. And the seal should be under warranty since I’ve had the tractor for just over a year. Any ideas?
